LOONEY LIST: My Top 5 coolest characters of 2010

I know I am late for the year end party, but better late than never right! So, here is my list of top five characters that I found ultra cool last year. It can be their attitude, looks or their charismatic presence that reserved them a seat in this list. These are the kind of guys that you root for, whether they are morally good or bad. The characters listed are only from the movies of 2010 that I have seen, and there are many that I haven't. So there you go.

5. Metro Man (MEGAMIND)

Its been quite a while since Brad Pitt has looked this cool in a movie. His Metro Man is stylish, arrogant, a big show-off and keeps the proceedings interesting as long as he is on the screen. I terribly missed the encounters between Metro Man and Megamind and wish there was more of him in the movie.

4. Ree Dolly (WINTER'S BONE)

Ree Dolly has the responsibility of the whole house on her shoulders and she can go to any length to protect her younger siblings. To save the only shelter they have she starts on a quest to find her missing father, even if it means dealing with the most powerful and dangerous men of the town. Played by Jennifer Lawrence with great intensity, Ree Dolly comes across as one of the coolest characters seen on screen last year.

3. Arthur (INCEPTION)

Arthur is the point man, the one responsible for getting all the details in place before the job. He is loyal, dependable and extremely professional. Joseph Gordon-Levitt nails down the role with his looks alone and gets to do the gravity-defying sequence that also happens to be the coolest action piece of the movie.

2. Hit Girl (KICK ASS)

Hit-Girl played by Chloe Moretz is a sweet little school girl who can kick some real ass. She has been training with her dad Mr.Big Daddy since infancy and turns out to be the best superhero of the movie.

1. Mark Zuckerberg (THE SOCIAL NETWORK)

Jesse Eisenberg's impression of Mark Zuckerberg is a person who talks to the point and rarely smiles. He will not impress you with sweet talk but his extreme attention to details. He doesn't mince words and can insult you with his sharp statements. But underneath that persona is a person who will always root for his friends. The character being based on a real person makes it the coolest of them all.

Who according to you was the coolest character of 2010?
